NOCK Subscription Plans, Trial, Usage Limits, and Tier Comparison

Every NOCK workspace runs on a billing plan that controls how many projects it can create, how many tickets it can receive per month, and how many AI enhancements it can use in the current billing period.
NOCK does not offer a permanent free production tier. Every new workspace automatically gets a free, no-card 14-day Lite trial at creation, and can also move to an active paid subscription at any time.
What the limits mean
Projects are the individual products, apps, or websites you connect to NOCK. Each project has its own widget configuration, Customer Portal link, tickets, and settings.
Tickets per month is the number of tickets your workspace can receive across all projects in the current billing period. Tickets can come from the widget, Customer Portal, dashboard, Public API, or connected automation.
AI enhancements per month covers AI-assisted ticket improvements, follow-up prompts, and related AI functionality. When the limit is reached, AI enhancements pause until the next period; core ticket handling can continue as long as the ticket limit is still available.

Trial behavior

The free trial is intentionally limited to Lite. Plus, Growth, and Scale start as paid subscriptions because higher project and ticket limits can create infrastructure and AI costs quickly.
The Lite trial auto-starts the moment a user's first workspace is created, lasts 14 days, requires no credit card, and is available once per account — it never resets or repeats, even if the workspace is deleted. Additional workspaces start without a trial and require choosing a paid plan. After the trial has been used, future checkouts for any plan are paid from day one.
During the trial, Lite includes the full NOCK product surface within Lite limits: widget, dashboard tickets, Customer Portal, replies, internal notes, Public API, webhooks, and optional Linear sync.
Adding a payment method during the trial converts the workspace to paid Lite at the original day 14, without shortening or extending the trial. If the payment method is added within roughly the last 48 hours before the trial ends, billing may begin immediately instead of at day 14, due to a minimum lead time required by Stripe.
What happens when the trial ends without a card
If a workspace's 14-day Lite trial expires without a payment method on file, the workspace becomes read-only: it cannot create new projects or receive new tickets. Existing tickets, projects, and account and workspace settings remain visible, and nothing is deleted. Adding a payment method at any time reactivates the workspace on the paid Lite plan (or another plan via checkout).
What happens when you hit a limit
Warning
When the monthly ticket limit is reached, new submissions are not recorded until the limit resets or the workspace upgrades to a higher plan.
If the AI enhancement limit is exhausted, AI-powered functionality pauses for the remainder of the period. Ticket creation, dashboard triage, replies, notes, Public API access, and webhooks can continue as long as the workspace still has ticket capacity.
If the project limit is reached, create fewer projects or upgrade to a plan with more project capacity.
Limit resets
Ticket and AI enhancement limits reset with the workspace billing period. You can check current usage at any time in Settings > Billing.
