Choose Team and Project
Select the Linear team, optional Linear project, and sync mode used by a NOCK project.
After the workspace has a Linear API key, each NOCK project decides whether to sync with Linear and where issues should go.
Open the NOCK project and go to Settings > Linear sync.
If Linear is not connected
The Linear sync tab shows that sync is off and links to workspace settings. Add the Linear API key there first, then return to the project.
Select a team
Open Settings > Linear sync
Select the NOCK project and open the Linear sync tab.
Choose Team
Pick the Linear team that should receive issues from this NOCK project. The list comes from the connected Linear account.
Refresh if needed
Use the refresh button beside the team dropdown if you changed teams or permissions in Linear.
Changing the selected team resets the optional project selection because Linear projects are team-specific.
Select an optional project
After a team is selected, choose a Linear project or leave the field set to No project.
| Choice | Result |
|---|---|
| Specific project | New Linear issues are created inside that project. |
| No project | New Linear issues are created in the selected team's backlog without a project assignment. |
Use the project refresh button if a newly created Linear project does not appear.
Labels
The tab displays available Linear labels for the selected team. NOCK does not ask you to choose default labels in this UI. Instead, ticket categories are automatically matched to Linear labels by name.
For example, if your NOCK category is Bug and the Linear team has a Bug label, created issues can use that matching label.
Enable sync
Turn on Enable Linear sync when new NOCK tickets should create Linear issues and Linear-created tickets should appear in the customer dashboard.
Click Save after changing the team, project, or sync toggle.
Warning
Changing the team or project affects new sync activity only. Existing linked Linear issues are not moved automatically.
